
Students can apply for the BMH program through direct choice in the JUPAS / Non-JUPAS admissions scheme or apply for transfer from the Science (Group B) program after their first year of study. The successful admission of applicants is based on academic results and performance during a (compulsory) interview.
JUPAS Applicants
Applicants with HKDSE Examination results may apply for direct entry into the BMH program by choosing JS5118. Students who are keen to apply for the BMH program are encouraged to include JS5103 in their program choices.

Remarks: The highest score of at most TWO weighted science electives will be taken in the admissions score calculation.
Non-JUPAS Applicants (International Qualifications - e.g., IB, GCEAL, SAT/AP):
In addition to fulfilling the University’s general requirements, Biomedical and Health Sciences program applicants must have:
- At least one senior-level subject from Biology / Chemistry
- Satisfactory interview performance
Transfer from the Science (Group B) Program:
Students admitted into the Science (Group B) program may choose to major in the BMH program during the major selection exercise after completing their Year 1 study.
